Heute setzen wir thematisch historische Akzente und entführen Euch ins Persien des Mittelalters. Zu Gast bei uns im Studio ist der frischgebackene bonner Orientalist Tilman Böcker und wird uns über die Assasinen aufklären.
Die Assasinen sind eine sagenumwobene ismailitische Sekte, die durch Berichte von Kreuzfahrern und später durch Reiseberichte, wie z.B. die des Marco Polo, auch in Europa bekannt wurden. Diese wirkten in der Zeit von 1080 bis 1270 n.Chr. und galten sowohl als Meuchelmörder an hochgestellten Persönlichkeiten ihrer Zeit, wie auch als Haschisch konsumierende und orgiastische Feste feiernde Sekte.
Musikalisch werden wir uns u.a. der nahöstlichen und persischen Sufi-Musik annähern.
Weiterhin hören wir folgende Künstler aus China und Taiwan: Jay Chou, Jolin Tsai, Show Lo und viele viele andere mehr...
Alles in allem eine "schwindelerregende" Rundreise durch den Orient - ähnlich diesem Derwisch-Tanz ;) :
